SPECIAL PRIVILEGES FOR VISITING YACHTS (Cont.)
In order to strengthen the keelboat class, Ocean Marina will offer, subject to application via the race committee, and subject to availability, the following privileges to visiting keelboats.
Boats with a draft of 3.0 m or less, free mooring for the week of the Regatta plus one week after the regatta if proceeding to the Samui Regatta. Additional mooring at members rates.
For vessels with a greater draft the Marina will provide a ferry service to the Marina dock for boats moored outside the Marina due to draft restrictions, plus limited security for the same period. The mooring is safe and easily accessible from the Marina. Conditions are similar to Samui.

HARD STAND ACCESS
Should a boat require lifting for cleaning or other work the marina will offer lifting up to 18 tonnes and 3.0 meters draft as well as hard standing at Members rates.

MARINA SERVICES
There are competent contractors for bottom work, electrics and electronics working within the Marina.

IMMIGRATION AND CUSTOMS
The Ocean Marina Harbour Office will assist with filling out the forms and give guidance for clearance procedures. All yachts coming from overseas are strongly recommended to contact the marina office before leaving, to enable us to advise you in advance of the requirements necessary to facilitate an easy entry into Thailand.

All forms are available at the Harbour Office. Arrangements are also being sought for clearance out of Thailand in Koh Samui.
As always we suggest only one crew recorded as Captain and everyone else passengers. If the Captain is leaving the boat a Baht 20,000 refundable immigration deposit may be required. This is refundable when the boat leaves the country.

If the yacht is to stay in Thailand for more than one month it is recommended the Captain has a Thai visa for the period the yacht will be in Thailand. Currently HM Customs are only issuing temporary import permits for the duration of the Captains Visa. It is recommended the captain applies for a 60 day visa which can be obtained at Thai Embassies abroad. Thai captains do not have this restriction and six months should be possible.

For yachts coming from the South and competing in the Koh Samui Regatta we recommend that you clear in at Koh Samui before proceeding to Pattaya and check out at Koh Samui after the Koh Samui Regatta< br> Advance copies of documents are available from the Harbour Master upon request.

VISITING YACHT SUPPORT
